That is not true as you had to go across the street to the Hotel Captain Cook and use their facilities. "Last week room had no furniture except bed and desk. Found out in true Alaska style the truck with the new furnishings for the entire hotel has yet to arrive. They are doing their best! Also excellent salmon fishing in the river across the street. Enjoy!"
"It's a good place to sleep. We stayed there on three separate occasions during a two week period. There are what appears to be illicit activities going on in the area but these people never bothered any of the motel patrons. The staff do their best to keep them at bay and the police drive through now and them. Fine place to sleep if that's all you need."
