"I recently stayed at the Microtel Inn & Suites in Eagle River, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The location is convenient—just off the highway and close to local shops and restaurants, which made exploring the Anchorage area easy.
The room was clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities I needed. The bed was cozy, and I appreciated the quiet atmosphere, especially after long days of sightseeing. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
One area for improvement would be the breakfast selection—it was fairly minimal, and I would have liked a few more hot options. Also, while the hotel is generally well-maintained, some of the furnishings felt a bit dated.
Overall, if you're looking for a budget-friendly, no-frills place to stay near Anchorage, this Microtel is a solid choice. I’d consider staying here again for the convenience and value."
"This was an easy place to stay. It was clean, comfortable and the check in process was simple. We had to return our rental car, but it wasn't a problem as we were able to enjoy dinner at the hotel. "
"They sent the shuttle to pick us up from the airport. Shuttle driver was super friendly and suggested a great restaurant for us to try. He even dropped us off and picked us up later in the evening. The breakfast was also very good and served by very friendly staff. "
