"The room was very clean, quiet, comfortable, and within walking distance of the state fair. (Less than a mile walk) my husband and I enjoyed the very spacious room. I did think it was odd that there wasn’t anyone at the front desk. You have to call a number once you get there."
"Beautiful property on a beautiful lake where we enjoyed watching the sunset & wildlife
Breakfast was delicious & great company
Very homey comfortable suite upstairs
Highly recommend & will come back if ever in the area again"
"Read the other reviews on this property and set your expectations. It’s a budget friendly option. Looking for a hot shower, flushing toilet and a bed - you’ve got it. Rooms are upstairs from the bar so you’ll hear the music until 10 PM. Not an issue if you’re in the bar which has a very cool vibe to include the play lists. There’s a separate restaurant section for non-drinkers.Good surveillance - door locks are dated but functional. The staff is warm, friendly and certainly add to the magic."
