「This place was an absolute gem - I almost don't want to advertise it too much lest the word get out. The room was lovely and comfortable and the view was stunning. Jenner is a small town and Madeira House is right in the middle of it. My only regret is not staying longer and getting to enjoy the magical garden on site. We will be back!」

「Moder, clean rooms w/jacuzzi tub and private outdoor deck. In floor heating; no noisy AC unit. Nice grounds to walk with our dog (pet friendly). Host provided outside movie and got a fire going. Hot breakfast (scrambled & sausage) plus good fruit, cottage cheese, yoghurt with usual coffee and selection of teas. Friendly staff who want to help. Property is well off the road and so peaceful. Restaurants are 5-8 mins away but parking is challenging as these are popular.」

「We had a really enjoyable two-night stay at the Bodega Bay Inn. Leslie & Pete, the managers, were great hosts & created a very welcoming atmosphere. The Inn is located close to the highly rated Terrapin Cafe, a cute gift shop (Sea Lemon) with unique gifts & rustic coffee shop. It is not far from many beaches & walking trails.」

Across the street is a fantastic bakery with good coffee as well as a little general store with a decent amount of snacks, wine, beer beach toys and other odds and ends. 「We came in winter and we were the only one group of guest on that day. Room is not large but enough for two people. Water pressure for shower is not as good as normal hotel, which may due to their location.」
