He's incredibly knowledgeable about a variety of topics. He's also a tremendous cook and has a great sense of humor. And the view of Ben Nevis right out the window is to die for. We slept very well in the super comfortable bed and woke to the sound of chirping birds.」

「The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.」

「This property was severely lacking for the price point. We have stayed in “ castles” before, so we know what to expect. Kincraig’s exterior looks dirty. The roof needs attention. There are missing slates. The windows need some type of weather seal to help keep moisture from coming in rooms. Our pillows and bedding were damp. The bedding was very poor. They did have a mattress cover, but instead of a fitted sheet, they used a flat sheet. The pillows were the worst! They were flat and didn’t...
