Top Sandbanks Ferry Terminal Hotel Reviews
Haven Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We have been to the Haven Hotel Sandbanks twice before. We love the views, the beach. The Hotel and staff. Very friendly, helpful, polite and welcoming. The breakfast had lots of fresh food choices. We loved looking out to sea whilst having a leisurely coffee. We ate in the restaurant for lunch once, Paninis and Sourdough sandwiches with coleslaw and crisps, very filling and delicious. We ate in the restaurant for dinner twice, the staff were very attentive. Perfect food! Great wine. We stayed Monday to Friday. Our room had a sea view, beautiful. Just one niggle, the shower tube was damaged and hardly any water came out making showering difficult. Water pressure not good. Although we have never had a problem before in other rooms. There is so much to do in Sandbanks, Poole, Shell bay and Brownsea Island. Including the pools, and leisure facilities. Staff and life guards were friendly and helpful too. The room was cleaned and beds made every day, thank you. The bar staff were friendly too. We had the best holiday, we hope to be back, thank you."

Bournemouth West Cliff Hotel & Spa

"All the staff were friendly and extremely helpful with questions and stuff needed The food was delicious and very well priced"
Laguna Hotel
8/10 Good
"Good sized bedroom and ensuite shower always hot and powerful. Lift to all floors which is useful with luggage.. Breakfast available, but we didn't try it. Hotel in a good location if you don't mind a walk through the lovely, well maintained gardens. Hotel does need updating, but that wouldn't stop us staying there again."
Harbour Heights Hotel
8/10 Good
"The view of the harbour is why you stay here and it doesn’t disappoint- just stunning. Locals and visitors flock to the outside terrace to enjoy a cocktail overlooking the harbour. We ate at the restaurant and both food and drinks were good but our dinner order was misplaced so we waited 75 minutes between starter and main. As an apology we weren’t charged. The room looked a bit tired and in need of a refurb but it was clean and the bed was comfy. We also had a view of the harbour (free upgrade). Staff was friendly but service is a bit chaotic - the staff lack set routines and need some training. The breakfast was tasty."
Antelope Hotel by Greene King Inns

"Was great"
The Merchant House
10/10 Excellent
"We had a fantastic stay at The Merchant House in Poole and would highly recommend it! This gorgeous Georgian house has been transformed into a stylish boutique B&B, while keeping all of its original charm and character. We loved all the fascinating ornaments, beautiful china and thoughtful little touches throughout the house. It really felt like staying somewhere special. The location is brilliant, with Poole Quay, shops, restaurants, wine bars and historic pubs all within easy walking distance. It was so convenient to leave the car behind and explore. We even took the ferry and steam train to Corfe Castle, which made for a wonderful day out. Our bedroom was lovely — comfortable, cosy and full of character. We particularly loved the little teddy waiting on the bed, ready for a cuddle if required! Such a charming touch. And then there was the breakfast — wow! Huge portions and a fantastic twist on the traditional Full English. Everything was delicious, but the homemade sourdough bread was a real highlight. Fresh, tasty and absolutely delicious! We also have to mention Paul and Bentley the dog, who were the perfect hosts. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcome and very much at home. Bentley was an added bonus! The Merchant House is a real gem — full of character, perfectly located, wonderfully welcoming and serving an unforgettable breakfast. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!"
