The hotel was quite dated but rooms were clean and staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.
The staff was very helpful nothing was too much for them. The outside areas were lovely where you could sit and have a drink etc.
Everything was very accessible ie: the beach shopping etc.
I would definitely stay there again!
Absolutely wonderful views from the harbour view rooms. These rooms are extremely spacious. They are comfortable but could probably use a little bit of an update. All staff extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was better than expected.
Fabulous room with beautiful sea views, wonderful breakfast and outside area, stunning location

Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
Fawlty Towers still exists and it is right here at this Hotel. In addition you get to experience a modern day Basil Fawlty run breakfast. This is not a serious. Just sit back and watch the chaos unfold!
Fantastic place for sundowners on the patio, magnificent view over the harbour. Not so nice to carry drinks outside to table down steps, with waiters stood around doing nothing.
When we first pulled up the hotel was not much to look at but honestly, what a lovely surprise once inside. The restaurant, the terrace overlooking Poole harbour and the rooms were all very spacious (we had 3 rooms)

Really nice stay. Room very comfortable, great view, lovely bathroom with spa bath, healthy breakfast. We weren't impressed by the dinner menu on offer so went elsewhere. The hotel has fab views but I found it to be a bit drafty in the restaurant and lounge areas
The receptionist upon arrival was lovely and our room was amazing, staff had even kindly created towel swans and scattered red rose petals on the bed for us as we recently got engaged. We loved the view and enjoyed a cream tea before going out in the evening.
