「Excellent, friendly service from all the staff. The hotel was a long walk along the front from the ferry terminal but taxis were available outside on the street in front of the port. Very nice breakfast each morning which offered porridge, kippers and boiled eggs to order as well as cereal, pastries and full English. 「The hotel is a bit tired. However the room was clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, the hot food is freshly cooked. 」

「My experience was very good if not excellent. Parking was a bit tricky as it’s a public parking and Mon-Fri 8am to 6pm restriction means you have to move your car every 2 hours, but if you’re spending the day out visiting places then parking restriction is not a worry.」

「The property is your typical Victorian BnB and only a block back from the Promenade. The staff were very polite and attentive and the included breakfast was good. The rooms are surprisingly spacious, although as is typical for buildings this old the walls and ceilings are pretty thin. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to bring earplugs. Every member of staff who we spoke to were so helpful especially the ladies on reception.
