「First time using a hostel, reminded me of being in a military barracks. No frills but it was nice being right on the beach and within walking distance to restaurants and gift shops. I was a bit confused by the address of the hostel. The uber driver took us to the address, or rather the block where it should have been, but it is actually on the next street north which doesn't have car access. I would stay there again. 」

「I got into LA at 4:30am and made it to the hotel thinking I would have to check in after 2ish and would be exhausted for the morning. They allowed me to check in early and I crashed for a good 3 hours!!! I really really appreciated the early check in. It was above and beyond what any hotel has ever done for me. 」

「We stayed at Hotel Hermosa in their unique two-story room with the winding staircase, and overall, it was a great experience. My daughter and niece especially loved the separation of bedrooms—it gave everyone their own space and added a fun, loft-like vibe to the stay. The spiral staircase was definitely a cool feature and added to the room’s character, but it’s worth noting that the metal steps are a bit tricky. It’s easy to bump your head if you’re not careful. 「I have stayed here another time. The location is safe and close to everything I needed for my short trip. The rooms were clean and pretty comfortable. We had a 2 bedroom suite which was perfect for privacy and space. I liked that the parking is in a garage under the hotel. There is no elevator, so you may want to unload on the hotel level before parking. Breakfast is very basic, but there are number of great coffee shops and restaurants nearby if you require something more substantial. I would...
