「Papagayo was a clean and beautiful property. But be prepared to spend. There's no all inclusive feature. The pools were clean from what we could see, although this is not an adults only resort and there are kids everywhere so you never know how clean the pools really are. It's not close to many shop but if you venture off into town, it's $30 usd both round trip. 「We booked a long-term stay for December 2025 through January 2026 for our wedding, honeymoon, and winter break. On December 30, 2025, housekeeping entered our cottage and left the door open. Our dog escaped during this time. We were not notified for approximately two hours. The property owner did not contact us directly or provide an incident report.
