We originally stayed at the Hilton Curacao Resort & Casino for our vacation, due to a last-minute flight cancellation, we had to extend our stay two nights at the Renaissance Wind Creek Curaçao Resort and it turned out to be a far superior experience. From the moment we arrived, everything felt elevated. The property is absolutely gorgeous, and the location is a perfect 10/10—walkable, scenic, and incredibly convenient. What started as an unexpected extension of our trip quickly turned into the highlight of our stay on the island. Because everything was last minute and we were unable to get a flight off the island, we were especially grateful for how well we were taken care of. Zahayra (apologies if the spelling is incorrect) stood out in particular—she went out of her way on multiple occasions to ensure my fiancé and I were comfortable and had everything we needed. At one point, we asked for a simple Band-Aid after my fiancé cut his foot at the beach, and she immediately arranged for medical assistance to ensure it was properly covered and didn’t become infected. That level of care and attention meant a lot. Every staff member we interacted with was genuinely friendly, attentive, and willing to go above and beyond without hesitation. It’s rare to feel that supported in a hotel, especially during travel disruptions. Overall, 10/10 experience. We would absolutely recommend the Renaissance Wind Creek Curaçao Resort and would stay again without hesitation.

I stayed here for my 30th birthday and the staff truly exceeded my expectations. This was one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Everyone was so welcoming, kind, and accommodating from start to finish. At one point I lost my phone, and one of the staff members actually left the hotel and went into town with me to help me find it. We ended up getting it back, and he even tipped the person who had it so I didn’t have to. That meant so much to me and really shows how much they care about their guests. The location is perfect, right by the bridge and about a five minute walk into town. The handmade beach was beautiful and so relaxing. The food was really good and I enjoyed everything at the buffet. They made my birthday unforgettable. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Curaçao.

Property was clean easy on the eyes ocean view rooms were awesome . But staff need to work on politeness which we found an issue with most in Curacao. Out of the ABC island Aruba gets The A and Curaçao is the C . Renaissance you could work on the staffing u would be the gem of the island

I arrived at Renaissance Wind Creek Curaçao Resort with a sense of anticipation, and it did not disappoint. The property itself offers a refined ease—its on-site dining is reliably good—but the true marvel reveals itself at the infinity pool. There, the boundary between crafted luxury and natural beauty dissolves; the water stretches outward with the illusion of a private shoreline, all while the pulse of downtown Willemstad hums just beyond. Step outside the resort, and the experience deepens. The nearby Rif Fort and surrounding downtown streets are a culinary playground, where flavors feel both rooted and inventive. A small but valuable tip: pay in guilders rather than USD whenever possible—the difference, though subtle, works in your favor over time. Within the fort, an unassuming ice cream shop beckons. It is well worth the توقف—though patience is required. On a busy day, with only one gracious soul behind the counter, the line can stretch into a test of resolve. Still, the warmth of the service makes the wait feel almost intentional, as though savoring begins before the first bite. Among the dining standouts, the “91” family of restaurants deserves particular praise. Kaya 91 offers a more accessible indulgence, while Mar y Tierra 91 elevates the experience into something richer and more refined. Both deliver, each in their own register. The hotel staff were beyond friendly and helpful. If you needed anything the team went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. The cleaning staff were consistently cleaning and making sure the property was presentable. Breakfast in the hotel seating area in the morning got very loud (opt to sit outside if you want more quiet just understand pigeons in Curacao are a thing lol) The shops in the hotel and the Rif Fort are conveniently a few steps or a short walk away from the hotel. The Queen Emma bridge is very close to the hotel so in short everything was in relative easy walking distance for us.

Room was clean but a bit run down. The shower handle popped off a few times. The drainage was slow. Handle missing off a drawer. I was only here 2 days out of my stay I chose it because of the walkable location. The staff were absolutely the best. So helpful and friendly. They have a great team of people working here
