「Booked for just one night to attend a nearby wedding. Room was a twin in a block of 4 located in the car park behind the pub. Modern bathroom and comfortable bedroom with TV, tea/coffee, hairdryer etc. Rooms are traditional rather than modern but fit in with the main pub. Breakfast was excellent - full English with cereal/juice/toast all available. Handy for many east coast locations with lovely scenery very close.」

「Lovely spacious room, decent price, quick responses to all my enquiries and parking for 48 hours at £3 is a bonus!! Only downfall was the shower was a bit dirty and dusty, other than that it's a great place to stay, close to the sea front and town centre! Would stay again! :)」

「Great location for getting around Whitby. Shame about lack of car parking. Shower drain in our room was prone to blocking. Concerned it might flood the downstairs. We did mention it to staff. Overall a pleasant stay. Might be an idea to mention the stairs leading to upper room as less mobile guests may struggle」

「We had no running hot water other than the electric shower. No wardrobe just hangers on hooks. TV was the size of an iPad. Bottom bed sheet too small and forever coming off. Needs to be clearer when it states breakfast included but it is only cereal. Outside seating area not suitable as soiled with seagulls droppings」
