"The only thing that I had real issue with was the Goosefeather. I had dinner there Thursday night, and it was fine. Why? Because there were only a handful people having dinner there as well. Friday night, I tried to have dinner there, and I was told that there were no tables available (or bar seats for that matter) all night. They did not suggest any solutions and brushed me off. The hostesses were rude. Then I asked the front desk if I could have food delivered from there, and they said yes. I went back to order food (the food is exensive enough to begin with, and then they added tip (which i didn't realze until later and I added a tip as well) as well as 10 dollar delivery charge. I said nothing, and ordered the food. It arrived moments later in a paper bag, and each course was in a cardboard box. IF I ever go back to this hotel, I will never set foot in Goosefeather again. This hotel is not friendly to people coming from a big city solo who do not drive car, and they only have the one restaurant (and place for breakfast which was NICE). So IU warn anyone in a similar situation from staying at this hotel. The rooms were reasonable, but constantly going into town by taxi to eat somewhere else or eating at the Goosefeather really adds up and wouldn't necessarily be a good experience for the solo traveler. Isn't our money as good as anyone else/s???"

"Our stay in March 2026 unfortunately started off stressful. Prior to arriving, I called to add an extra night to our reservation and was assured by the front desk that it had been confirmed. I trusted the confirmation and did not ask for an email verification. When we arrived after midnight—after driving nearly three hours with our three children—we were told the extra night had never been added and our room type was no longer available. One option offered by the manager was to cancel our stay and request a refund through Expedia so we could find another hotel. While I understand this may sometimes be a solution, it felt unrealistic at that hour with three tired children. Eventually we were accommodated in a smaller room for the night so we at least had somewhere to stay, but the discount offered was only $20 and we were charged the current nightly rate. Our second check-in for the original reservation went smoother. The room was better, but there was less than half a roll of toilet paper and no extra rolls provided, which ran out that same night. Breakfast was very good and the building itself is not in bad condition, though some walls and furniture look worn. The biggest disappointment was that the pool was closed, something never mentioned during booking. We only discovered this from a sign at the front desk. Overall, too many issues occurred during our stay for us to return."

"My first day wasn't too bad the second one was horrible keys will not work no power to the lock give me a different room. I was so tired I just laid down and then when I went to take a shower there was only one towel no wash clothes "

"We really enjoyed our stay. Our rooms were placed right next to each other even though one was last second and booked months after. The beds were soft and comfortable. Nice air conditioning units. Rooms looked exactly like the photos, and even though you can only get into the rooms with your keycards they still come with two additional locks which made us feel very secure. The property is very close to a highway but we didn’t hear any traffic at all. The staff were very nice. The only things even close to issues we had was 1) we put the “please service our room tag” in our door and it wasn’t done 2) there was no plastic shower curtain so water got all over the floor 3) a single pixel stripe was out in our tv but it got easy to ignore. "

"This is a conference hotel that is old and dated. Sadly it’s not to the 2026 standards anymore. I would not stay there anymore. And conference should think of moving to another hotel."
