"A little too far away from old Quebec City, rooms could have been a little bit bigger and updated"

"Though seemingly on the edge between the quaint old city and a less nice part of town, the hotel was well within a comfortable walking distance of everything worth visiting in the city. The one downside was the fact that the main entrance to the building at street level lead into a foyer that required a wide flight of stairs up to get up to the main lobby (no elevator). We had three heavy suitcases (just got off a cruise) so climbing the stairs was not a fun proposition at that moment. Fortunately, there were staff members available to haul the bags up for us and beyond that, elevators to take guests to the rooms above. The front desk staff was equally as helpful and friendly. There is also a very good restaraunt attached to (but independent of) the hotel that is accessible from the lobby level. Overall, a nice reasonably priced place to stay in Quebec City."

"The room was updated and of a good size. The bathroom spacious and updated. The location is pretty great (in the upper town). My main issue with the room was the lack of natural light, it is an old building so you hear upstairs neighbours/hallway noises and the pillows were hard on my neck. The breakfast was included but I was on business and the hours didn’t work for me. The breakfast was also in a basement room with no windows."
