"The location is exceptional. We had a great view of Edinburgh Castle from our window, and only a few minutes walk to all the best restaurants and shops on Grassmarket and Royal Mile. "Liked this hotel very much. The room was lovely, well equipped, and very comfortable. And the view of the castle was pretty nice too. The only slight negative was that the cooked breakfast (waffles and Eggs Benedict) was all right but not wonderful, so not quite up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. Everything else was terrific."
