「The staff was super friendly and welcoming. The house was beautiful and the grounds full of things to explore. The breakfast was presently with panache and tasted great. We swam in the pool, ate at local restaurants, pet a turkey, and visited the local winery. I would highly recommend this establishment. 」

「Staff is excellent as is the decor and service both at the hotel, restaurant and rooftop. Not well known but the air conditioning in the room can be very loud and there are no TV’s in the room. The street is very walkable and there are several excellent restaurants within a quick walk or 10 min drive. The breakfast at the hotel was lovely- as was the restaurant. Great long weekend stay! 」

「I booked this property for an event nearby and it was perfect! I booked the executive suite which was clean and neat and affordable! The outside and the inside are well-maintained! Plenty of shopping/restaurants across the street and nearby! Would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area :) plus the staff were exceptional!」

「they don’t have refrigerator 」

「Hotel very close to 91 & 95. Easy & free parking. Wonderful front desk. The building is very interesting and worth staying for that alone. Much is electric in the room and hard to navigate. The blinds are hard to adjust with the control at the door, not near the blinds. The lights in the bathroom go on when you walk by -- even at night when you might not want them to do that. Hard to adjust the bathroom lights to be bright enough for make up, no close up mirror. The mattress, pillows & sheets...

「The staff was super friendly. Our room was large and immaculate. The free breakfast had more items than I usually eat going out for breakfast (not and cold items). The pool and whirlpool were awesome, had great music playing and no one was there. Will definitely go back.」

「Convenient location, close to highway & shops. The room is spacious, it includes a small living room area, a kitchen with stoves, refrigerator & microwave, which is more than enough for a comfortable stay. I would consider staying here again next time.」

「The staff members were very attentive and very respectful. 5 stars to them, give those fine folks a raise!!! Didn't care for the area though, I was racially discriminated against just standing out on the sidewalk along Asylum street. I dont plan on ever coming back to Hartford but if by some act of God, I had to c9me back no matter what, Id stay at the Goodwin.」

「I have been in this hotel many times (probably over few months) since September 2021. Some renovation done in mid 2022… fantastic! just one thing to maintain full stars review: to replace the dryers in the laundry if repair does not work (a bit annoying to pay 2-3 times to complete the dry since early 2022 😅)」
