「Rooms were clean. We had the queen by the pool. It was perfect for the 2 of us. The view from the pool is stunning. Very relaxing spot. 25-30 minutes from Tamarindo beach. Food on site for lunch was great. Breakfast was ok. Carolina and Enrique were very kind and helpful. All in all a nice spot. We didn’t use the spa only the hot tub. But it looked nice. The road to get there is a bit windy and rough. But part of the adventure! 」

「Very much, enjoyed our stay at Santarena, the help we’re very friendly and with great service. They gave us a ride to the Pickleball courts and gave us a ride back and never charged us. The courtyard effect of the area around the hotel with all the restaurants is very quaint. Is it very nice quiet place, we had an immensely great time. 」

「Easy to find from the airport, once you are close look for signs. No issues with arrival. Our room was clean and comfortable with storage options, safe, mini fridge and smart tv. The owners and staff are exceptional. They are friendly, helpful and quick with a smile. Had breakfast here every day, so delicious with local flavors and incredible view of the ocean and local birds. Cosmo and Princess are incredibly sweet feline ambassadors. 」

「The location and vibe was perfect for us! The room was simple, neat, clean and they honored our request for a room with the couch. The bathrooms could use an update or refresh. They are dated. The restaurant was delicious and a nice surprise in this sleepy town. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Took advantage of yoga which was great. The pools are very small but lots of lounges, hammocks, ping pong and a great lending library! Will definitely return to this sleepy but fabulous town! 」
