We actually got to experience three different types of rooms while we were there because we got married - we checked into the standard room which was great (a balcony overlooking the pool) and then the honeymoon suite for 3 nights which was AMAZING, following that we were moved into a 1 bedroom ocean view suite, which was also amazing. It had two balconys, a kitchenette, living room, bedroom and bathroom. One of the balconys had sun loungers and the other had a table and chairs. The staff at the resort were fabulous, the food was great, the atmosphere was also great! The location was perfect as the beach that it is on was stunning. I really do not have much to complain about. It is a very small resort, one pool, I believe 4 places to eat (open at different times) but we found it just perfect.

My stay was great, now I truly understand the term ‘pura vida”; thank you to Priscilla and Jose, Felix , and the many other workers and staff(too many to recall all the names), from the staff at its 5 o’clock somewhere to the banana wind restaurant as well as the Italian restaurant Capriccios Pizza Bistro & Cafe and of course the swim up bar License to chill, it was amazing. So much I can say the front desk, housekeeping always accommodating and understanding; to make me and my family stay pleasant definitely a place to go!!

Amazing place! Best decision we made to book the Margaritaville and do the All-Inclusive package. Food was fantastic, drinks delicious, beach was perfect and pool with pool bar the best. Staff was great, resort and rooms were very clean. Food was good. Only draw back was that it sits on a public beach and there were no resort chairs unless you carried them there from the towel area. The beach itself was good not rocky and fairly clear. Didn’t see much in the water though.

Very clean and great staff. Food was OK and mostly the same every day. If you smoke you have to basically leave the property just a heads up on that. Otherwise very nice small quiet (for the most part) relaxing place. Also if you are an early riser and you drink coffee they will not let you in the buffet to get coffee before 6:30am. This goes for all and if you have an excursion that leaves early this would be an issue. They should definitely have it available somewhere accessible. They do have coffee makers in the room but just make sure it works.

I stayed at Margaritaville in Costa Rica for a full week and overall had an amazing experience. The staff was incredibly friendly from the moment we arrived. I chose the all-inclusive package and did excursions every other day, so I was only on the resort about half of the time. Even with that, I will say the food did get a bit repetitive. It was very catered toward American tastes and didn’t change much throughout the week — that would be my only real downside. Aside from that, everything else was wonderful. The service truly stood out. At the swim-up bar, Elias went above and beyond for my kids, who kept ordering virgin margaritas. He even gave my three-year-old a tiny cup that was absolutely adorable. He was so friendly and patient — I couldn’t have asked for better service. The hotel itself was very clean. Housekeeping came every day, so I never had to worry about a thing. At the 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar, Fiona, Nadezca, Steicy, Melvin, Marvin, and Gabriel provided excellent service as well. Overall, Margaritaville delivered a fun, relaxing vacation with exceptional staff. I would definitely recommend it, especially for families.

The resort was extremely clean and beautiful. The beach was pristine, smooth, unforgettable. The sunsets are brilliant. Our room was spotless everyday, amazing towel animals on the bed; a very nice touch. Wonderful staff. Breakfast staff were so friendly- Rodolfo, Andy, Paulino, Douglas. Jose and Priscilla doing the rec activities were great. Nadesca serving on the deck was very sweet. Jessica at the spa did a lovely hot stone massage. Elliot picked us up from a restaurant when it was dark! Flower got us a round trip uber on her phone that was reliable and reasonable to go to Conshell beach at the last minute on our last day. Everyone was super, even the security was friendly. Close to the resort is the marina and lots of places to eat. We felt totally safe and it was a wonderful place to relax and unwind. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Margaritaville Resort Costa Rica was memorable, the resort itself offers what you’d expect from an all-inclusive comfortable rooms, good amenities, and a beautiful beach the real standout here is the exceptional staff. The moment we checked in Malory at the front desk set the tone with a warm, friendly check-in experience. I hardly ever remember names, but the service here is was so great and personable that several people left a positive impression. Banana Winds, Rodolfo and Mauricio made every visit feel welcoming and easy. Over at the Italian restaurant, each meal felt like a personal experience every time we ate there, thanks to the incredible team—Randall, Yoleth, Carlos, and Kevin. And last but certainly not least Henry from security was not only professional but incredibly friendly and easy to talk to, adding an unexpected and appreciated personal touch to our stay. The gorgeous beach and phenomenal staff are what set it apart. Highly recommend and plan on retuning!
