Great resort for families. Beach was beautiful and the staff was very friendly. Pool was perfect for my kids, with three different shallow areas where they could play. The resort yacht tour was amazing and easily a highlight of the stay. We did the morning snorkel to Honeymoon Beach and it felt like a private tour. Easily accessible to see wildlife in nearby places.

We had a very enjoyable stay overall. The staff went above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable and cared for, everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The only area that could use improvement is the food. While we enjoyed our stay, the buffet and food options became repetitive, and more variety would have been appreciated. A refreshed menu would make this resort even better.

Spacious and clean room, large tv, balcony overlooking the pool; large pool with swim up bar, 3 dining options; amazing location. Wonderful staff. This stay far exceeded our expectations. I was hesitant as I hadn't stayed AI for a few years. We were a group of 3 families with three 17 yr old seniors having their last HS spring break before they all head off to college. All inclusive for the teens to grab a bite to eat whenever they wanted was ideal and on paper, Margaritaville looked a great option. In the end, This break was perfect for them. One activity per day off site and then return to resort for an excellent steak sandwich and fries or taco was perfect! A clean pool and fantastic beach a minute from resort was amazing. The new Marina development a few mins walk away also gave us somewhere off site to have a choice if we wanted to eat or drink elsewhere. My son scuba dives and to be able to walk to OceanConnect was perfect. The hotel also arranged transportation for the 8 of us which took around 1 hour 20 mins from Liberia airport. Thanks to all at the hotel - you were wonderful.

Great time at Margaritaville! I travelled with teenage kids and everyone had an unforgettable time. We loved the location of the resort right on the beach and being able to move between pool and beach. The beach is beautiful and not busy. The pool area has great character with people gathering around the bar and easy to make friends. The staff is really nice, especially the bar tenders at the pool - I loved the make your own Margarita time! Rooms are well appointed and very functional with plenty of storage. The common areas are ample, clean and have a lot of sitting to hang out. There are activities organized by the resort for everyone to enjoy. The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast choices and quality as well as the sitting in the restaurant.

The resort offers a great location - One hour from the airport, walking distance to the village and marina, right on the beautiful beach. Kids enjoyed making custom drinks at the bar, and loved the beach (no seaweed, clean white sand, amazing sunset every nights). Good food but limited selection. It’s a small cozy property with one pool and pretty much one restaurant. All inclusive was a way to go as everything at the resort is overpriced otherwise. Live music every night but not much else for other entertainment. Staff is excellent. We enjoyed our stay but for that money we could have stayed in a 5 star Mexican resort, but this beach was better than any Mexican beach we visited on both coasts.

Beautiful property on one of the best beaches in the country. Great food and a relaxed Pura Vida vibe throughout. Not your typical all-inclusive experience; no loud music, no large group activities throughout the day. Perfect place to relax.

We went for a week with two kids (10 and 8) and had the best week. We did the all inclusive, which I would suggest as the à la carte prices add up, especially with drinks. The beach is amazing and so easy to access. We seam in the pool for hours every day. The food was great, especially at the Italian restaurant that you have to reserve in the morning. Breakfast buffet was delicious and fulsome every day. We had such a fun time. We would love to go back some day.

Everything about this place is fantastic except for the meals my wife and I had at their 5’o clock somewhere restaurant. The food was awful and their drinks up there were the worst we had in Costa Rica. Other than that, great experience.

We had an amazing time here! The staff could not have been friendlier (shout out to Doney at the front desk!), and the resort was exactly as we expected.

Loved the Vibe!! Room was great and the Beach was amazing! Literally walk across the street to many restaurants and shops and the Marina. The food was also quite good and the drinks were excellent!! I really enjoyed the bartenders and the manager was great. We would definitely go back!

Great staff and facilities. Good beach at doorstep of hotel. Restaurants within walking distance if you choose to not dine at hotel. Have visited several times and hope to return in the future.

Margaritaville was in a great location as far as being on the beach. The food was great and Elias at the swim up bar was amazing! I would definitely go back.
