"The place was very clean and the staff very friendly. The location is very close to the bus station and there’s a couple of train stations at a walkable distance (10-15mins). Overall it was comfortable and I recommend it!"

"It's a quit aria. I didn't recive any mail with instructions for check in, so it was not smoorh. Had ti use my international cim card to call them to get the code. But the room was very nice. "

"No elevator within the building. There is a tight window for check-in otherwise they will charge you extra, even though it is all done on your phone once you arrive. Furniture is tiny, 'couch' is torn up, and uncomfortable; not relaxing after a full day of exploring. There was a large dirty mouse pad outside the bathroom used as a rug? Booked a city view room but had a view of the alley and parking lot. After our third day, as we were entering the building, we were stopped by a stranger walking...

"We loved this place and would stay here again when we travel back to Kyoto. The place was super clean and quiet. It felt so safe and train stations were in walking distance. We even found an awesome Korean restaurant right around the corner from the place. Also the Lawson store was just a minute away from here and open 24 hours. The staffing were also extra helpful and super sweet. "

"Great location, right next to a skytrain. There is a free onsen attached with 2 hot pools, 1 cold, and a sauna which was lovely to use after a long day of walking. The front desk staff were also great, they let us check in 3 hours early since our room was ready."
"Great room and staff. The lounge and premium lounge if you're nasty were really nice! It's very conveniently located near transit and is on the main drag for shopping. "
"Outstanding hotel. I haven't been to all hotels in Kyoto but this hotel was by far the best one i have been to. Even though it is located in downtown Kyoto it has a very tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. It is quiet in the room which is good when you want to sleep. Breakfast is great and the lounge is nice. It is a good place where you can relax in the evenings.
"
"A very excellent experience overall. Staff was spectacular! Our private onsen was fantastic and the room was fine, it actually has softer beds which is a huge difference from other hotels in Japan from my experience.
Kaiseki dinner was great, getting greeted with a cup of Yuzu Tea while we wait for check in was also great.
I only have one request if you are reading this: be exceptionally nice to the staff. We watched the ladies checking people in get mocked for how they walked in their traditional dress, even though they were going above and beyond to make sure the people staying there were receiving great service. I genuinely felt terrible for them.
We will be back one day! We loved our experience "
