Spacious, easy self check in instructions, very clean. Having laundry and a kitchen was so nice. A bit out of the way but lots of good dining options if you're willing to walk a few minutes, and very walkable to many sights in Kyoto - we didn't need to use any public transportation.

This is a great area for walkability, and the bus stop is very close. Room size and amenities were great. We had a group of adults and the bunk beds creaked really badly every time someone in the upper bunks moved. Probably works better for kids.

Enjoyed the stay

Loved the check in process (convenient next to the station) and then the free shuttle (in a Hello Kitty minibus) to the apartment. The room was spacious and clean. We enjoyed Netflix on the projector screen after a busy day sightseeing. The washing machine was convenient to have in the heat of the summer and we really enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay for family.

Great place to stay close to temples and other attractions. Great projector and screen we could use in the evenings. Great little kitchenette, spacious bathroom, separate toilet, Beds were a little hard though. Close to convenience shops where you can buy snacks, drinks and even prepared meals. We walked everywhere but bus stop out front if you wanted.

Very cozy rooms with two huge sized beds. The place is newly installed and you can cook with kitchenware so recommend to find nearby grocery stores. Also have an android tv projector and you can watch YouTube to other steaming services.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and would not recommend this property. There is no front desk staff. Additionally, there was a water leak on the main floor and water leaking from the toilet in our room.

The property is only a 3-5 min walk away from Kiyomizu-dera Temple which is convenient. There are some restaurants and shop options close by although we were surprised that quite a few of them close around 6pm (in line with the closure of the temple). The property was clean and tidy. We thought there was a washer-dryer but in the end it was only a mediocre washing machine. We were 5 and the 5th bed is just a very narrow armchair that folds out. It wasnt ideal but it was manageable. All in all we had a good experience staying there and it is ver convenientl located.

This was the best property we stayed while in Japan. Location was perfect, walkable to Gion (10min) and Kiyomizu-dera. Bus stop & Lawson are both 5 min away. Property was very well maintained, and my 7yo daughter enjoyed the large screen from her bunk bed. No traditional dryer but you can dry your clothes in the shower room which has a dryer function! Everything abour this place was perfect. Check in was smooth at the building in front of Kyoto station (make sure to bring cash to pay Kyoto's new tax, not much but you need cash) We didn't use the shuttle service as we were able to catch the bus easily. Kyoto station has many lockers so if you are backpacking you can just leave them there until check in and explore. We would love to use their property all over Japan if we can find them!

Fire alarm sounded twice over my period of stay - late night and in the morning. I had to evacuate my family and we were left stranded outside in the cold. Poor communication and management by the property team. Would avoid staying here again.
