Don't be deceived by the humble looks, for this place had much more soul and comfort to it than many other places. The owner is a very nice, helpful and patient person, and the place offers you anything you might need from kitchen to free use of the washing machine for clothes. It's located in a more quiet neighborhood although it does have planes flying over every two minutes. It didn't bother us at all but if you're sensitive to that kind of thing it's good to know.

Kleines Hostel mit typisch japanischem Frühstück. 5km entfernt vom Flughafen Itami, Subwaystation 10 Minuten zu Fuß.
I stayed here the night before I had an extremely early flight out of Osaka Itami airport. The owner was very friendly and we chatted for a little while before I headed out for the night. The 10 minute walk from the nearest train station was a bit inconvenient with my luggage, but the walk was very quiet and (of course) safe, winding through dense 1 and 2-story properties. It had a nice atmosphere. The hostel itself was newly constructed. The design was interesting, however the beds were extremely thin. When I stay at a hostel, my three priorities are safety, location, and comfort. They should really double up on those mattresses or find something to replace them. Other than that, this place exceeded my expectations in the other various qualities. The common area was excellent. Their WIFI worked without any problems, and their kitchen was fully stocked with breakfast foods and tasty drinks. Had I used this as a base for a multi-night stay on the North side of Osaka I think I would have had a more enjoyable stay.
