Japanese hostels tend to be mere collections of dormitory rooms, but Hostel Ogk is one of rare exceptions. It's got large and comfy lounge with free coffee, wide kitchen, and even relaxing tatami space. Bathrooms are clean and well-maintained, and bedrooms are large enough to have decent level of privacy. Staff members and guests are friendly, polite and welcoming.
Had a very nice and large lounge with access to a shared kitchen, and free coffee and tea. Allowed for an early check in, and allowed luggage storage

Liked: Staff & service, amenities
The hostel was comfortable overall. The bathrooms were not that clean as the other hostels I’ve been at in Japan but still bearable. The room was clean and the beds comfortable.
Only issue is the shoes (which you have to remove before getting in the beds section are placed within the dorm itself giving a nauseating smell for who is close to them, maybe place them outside?staff overall friendly and lounge really nice and equipped
Stayed here for several nights.
Very convenient location with several access options depending on your convenience. It's a 10ish minute walk from Osaka station, a major transit hub, and also close to Fukushima station and Nishi-Umeda station. There is also a bus that goes almost right in front of the hostel. Convenience store just around the corner, about 1 minute away. If you have heavy bags and don't want to walk or take the bus, a taxi is easy to grab from around Osaka station.
Had no inconvenience using the shared shower/bath. There's many stalls and they were never busy at the times I used them.
Service was nice and personable.
Common room where you can hang out/watch tv/eat was pleasant and quiet.
Shoe locker (with key) outside the dorm room as well as small valuable items locker (with key) inside the capsule was available for use.
Comfortable and clean.
The bathrooms were dirty and smelly. Also shower is on a different floor. The hostel is about 10 mins walk from station but as station is verry big it is actually 15 mins walk
