"Unfussy hotel, decent food, beautiful views. Lovely onsen, although the property was obviously aged and certain parts had peeling paint. Overall a great stay for the price. "

"Good condition property, free onsite parking, superb helpful and welcoming staff, very good amenities, very fast internet, average sized room to Japanese standard, sumptuous breakfast, enough varieties for Vegans and Vegetarians, but limited enough just to fill up.
Value for money hotel.
Just that some of the Breakfast Buffet food is only labelled in Japanese, thus need enquiry from staff about content and ingredients."

Fukoji Temple is just one of the places to see in Ogawa, so why not enjoy the other things to explore during your travels? Make time to visit the temples and monuments while you're in the area.
Booked this hotel as there was nothing else available in Saitama or at least the area of Saitama I needed to be in. I was HAPPILY surprised by the hotel and it's staff. First there is parking and a decent amount, as I'm a driver this helped a lot. The staff spoke limited English, but more then enough to get checked in. They give complimentary breakfast and beer.... The location is incredible being only steps away from Fukaya station. I will definitely be coming back.

My husband and I stayed at this property while visiting our family in Japan. It was absolutely perfect for us. We stayed for eight nights. It was like a home away from home. We had space for our family to come and visit us quite often. This was a priceless benefit.
It was close to everything we needed and the nearby train was not an issue but rather a comfort, knowing we had transportation available when needed.
The manager was excellent and provided everything we needed daily. This will be our...

The first room smelled like sewage sadly, I reported it and the front staff promptly put me in the new room and it was nice and clean, no issues- I’m suspecting some old pipes maybe? But other than that, I really appreciated their hearty breakfast menu option you can add, they seemed more thoughtfully prepared than what you would expect from breakfast buffet-
Staffs are cordial, nice and helpful :))
The big bath area is a very nice addition - I do wish it smelled more like Hinoki and wondered...

The location was perfect and the staff was very nice. We only stayed one night but the staff let us keep our bags at the front while we explored the town the next day before we left.
