Labor Day shenanigans at Lincoln Beach. Lincoln Beach served New Orleans' African-American community during the time of segregation. You have to hop the levee/fence, cross the (active) train tracks, and then find one of the the trails that leads to the water. This is a view from the outside of part of the old arcade, a lingering reminder of what used to be. Unfortunately, the whole area is littered with trash as its not maintained by the city or the railroad locality. "Great location and Beautiful place. We felt very safe here. There is a gate and a garage. I appreciated the communication being fast and easy. The only thing I wish was different was having one more bathroom in the downstairs room that holds 4 people. They had to walk up 2 flights of stairs for a shower. Other than that, we were very happy with the place and we would definitely stay there again!"

"Absolutely loved the property! It was very conveniently located, parking was amazing. It is newly built and very spacious. We were in town for the night very last minute due to a family emergency and because of the holiday there weren’t too many places available. My only complaint is the price, the cleaning fee is as much as a 1 night stay. "

"Arrived at the unit and was immediately greeted by 4 homeless adults that were living on the porch "to enjoy the AC leaking out from under the door" they have set home a home with mattresses on the sidewalk out front, and were actively using drugs in front of my family. Hosteeva told me just use the back door. LOL. Currently fighting the charge with Amex, zince Hosteeva wont refund my money."

"We stayed here with family. The area felt very safe. We were able to walk to the grocery store and other restaurants during the day. You need a car in my opinion but there's plenty of on street parking and a garage. The trolley is within walking distance as well. We loved city park which is basically right down the road. There's also a pool area which was nice to hang out at but the water is not heated. My only complaint is the overpowering smell of fabulouso. I'm sensitive to cleaning product...

"This place was immaculate! WoW we were so satisfied. It is located Uptown, the garden district. Ten minutes from the French .25. Bring your own seasonings but who goes to New Orleans to cook? So getting around is super simple, 3 blocks from the streetcar. It cost to ride it but it was like Curtis Jackson (50cent). It runs often. "Some issues with the toilet not flushing well but otherwise was a great place. The rooftop pool had an amazing view to just relax in the evening even if not getting into the pool. The location was convenient to just walk to French quarter, river walk and convention center. I would stay there again if I come back to New Orleans "

"We had a great stay at Royal Sonesta! Staff was extremely friendly from the moment we stepped out of our taxi and was greeted by Caleb! We had interior balcony room and heard no sound from Bourbon St! Pool area was enjoyed by my children. While we traveled with our kids, and didn’t love Bourbon St (didn’t feel unsafe just not our scene) we were able to skirt around the hotel and were able to avoid it which was easy to do! We did however LOVE the Cafe Beignet and music legends park right across the street!"
