「Arriving early, I was told I couldn't check in till 3pm. Outside was covered in debris. Inside a bit in disarray. And the major issue, after check in I tried to get in some well needed rest. That's when the "horse" started galloping in the room above me. I let it go for awhile, than I went to the front desk to ask what's happening. Nothing was resolved. The galloping continued, again i went to the front desk, asked them to move my room or the one above me...nothing. This happened 3 more till...

「Staff were friendly. Our room was on second floor, huge water stains above our bed, could hear something in the attic above us throughout the night. Most likely a critter, I don’t even want to think about what kind. Breakfast was good.」

「Interesting place to stay! The estate really is beautiful, and my room was very spacious. The AC was a little wonky but otherwise no issues with anything in the room. Shower and tv worked fine. I saw some reviews saying guests couldn’t get in touch with the staff but they answered me pretty quickly when I contacted them. All in all a pretty enjoyable stay」

「The room was spacious, clean, bright and comfortable. The included breakfast was freshly made and delicious. The have a beautiful cozy garden space with seating and a shed which has a sitting area and coffee. The innkeepers are wonderful.」

「Had the most wonderful stay here, amazing staff and catered for our gluten free requirement with a delicious, huge breakfast. Extremely comfy bed with beautiful decor, and effective air conditioning. Walking distance to the best, most vibrant area of Newport. We only wish we could have stayed longer! We would recommend emailing with any special requests separately as they did not seem to be receiving messages we sent through Expedia.」

「The property appeared to be new. Our room was BEAUTIFULLY decorated. I would definitely stay there again. Right on the main road, only couple blocks from downtown.」

「The hotel was very close to all the scenic spots. The staff was helpful. The rooms where clean and there was a pick and go breakfast sandwiches, juices and snacks. Plenty of parking. They are not pet friendly but did make a special arrangement with me and my small dog. I am very grateful.」
