「average old chalet 」

「The room was awful! Had over 500 ants, dirty, wet with rain water coming in to the room. We complained to you and the owner. He agreed to move us but charged us more than twice the rate for the room. It was very unhealthy to stay there. I would like to make an official complaint with you all as it was a shed changed to a room and just not a bedroom. No tables, closet or anything. Absolutely awful!! Disappointed that you could not do anything to help us and we were forced to stay there for one...

「The place wasnt refreshed for our stay. Dust inside all the cups and on the tables etc. A dead roch sitting in the container that held the tea n sugar. Need to supply 2 more towels as there was 2 people staying 2 nights and we only had 2 towels. Lawns were unkept. Theres a tin shed ryt out where the bed is. It was scratching n banging up on the wall and keeps you from falling into deep sleep. The blue pillow cases had dribble stains on the fabric. If these details where more tended to it would...

「Great cabin/farm style stay. Incredibly cozy, even in the cold and snowy weather we got. Cabin was furnished with everything we needed, kitchen was very nice, shower was great for temperature and pressure, and the spa was an absolute joy to use in the snow! The owners are also a delight - very thoughtful and helpful. Can not recommend this place enough for a high country getaway!」

「Took an hour for key to be located, then someone else in our room! Was double booked! Wasn’t even the accommodation that was advertised. No other accommodation available in Auckland, nearest we could get was Huntly! No assistance finding somewhere. Absolutely worst experience ever. Don’t stay here, nightmare」
