Chelsea is a very special location in NYC. Shared areas were well kept. Sharing bathrooms depends on other people and I was lucky most of the time. Overall, Outsite delivered what it promised.

This is an especially nice grownup hostel/guesthouse, some shared bathrooms, big well-equipped kitchen & common work/relaxation spaces. Neighborhood is great. During the bad June heat wave the bedroom AC was quiet and effective (unusual combo). No staff onsite or callable, which can be frustrating: I made one mistake on my reservation dates, called immediately to try to correct it, got no response, and was eventually told that because I had declined to pay for the refundable option, they would not change it. So just be careful in your reservation! But I'm glad I stayed there and would do so again.

Very very happy with our stay here! There was not a fan or a TV but obviously there isn’t much time for TV when you’re exploring the city! Also close to a subway station.

Really great, well maintained property. The communal areas were consistently clean and stocked with necessities, the other people staying at the location we're friendly, and my room itself was spacious and had a nice bathroom. Would absolutely stay again.
