「We knew it would be a good stay after being in the office for 30 seconds. This is truly a small mom&pop motel, the owner was very helpful and inviting while we checked in. You could tell she cared about the property. She even informed us they do a small campfire with smores in the evening. 「The room had a terrible musty odor and had cobwebs and dead bugs on the ceiling and in the corners. The carpet needed to be vacuumed. The tile floor in the bathroom had dirty grout and big gaps of missing grout. The midges were able to get in the room between the patio doors. Luckily I had some duct tape in my car and I was able to tape around the door frame to help keep them out. The balcony and patio screen door were covered with dead bugs which made looking out at the lake disgusting....

「We stayed two nights. Check in, check out was good. Room was comfortable. We like to leave the bathroom light on at night as a night light but the light was tied into a noisy fan. Overall this seems to be a nice place to stay. We happened to pick the wrong weekend. There was a major car show and the hotel was packed with hot rods, muscle cars, etc, that we nice to look at but not fun at 2, 3, and 4 in the morning when they competed for two nights to see how loud they could be.
