"I liked that I had an option for ocean view with balcony. HOWEVER, they should let you know that you may get a ground floor with a balcony 🙄 so you know with people on the beach, there's no privacy. You have to keep drapes drawn so they can't see in your room. Also, the front desk lady was borderline rude. After she was done with her spew (so I thought), I asked where breakfast was located, and she was snippy and let me know she will " get to that in a minute", I personally wouldn't stay there...

We stayed at the budget inn and they make it very clear through the booking and on the lobby door of the budget inn that you checkin/out at the Thunderbird Inn next door. The rooms were basic and felt equal to the affordable price we paid. The pools were not open but it was a cold memorial day weekend trip. I got to bring my dog for only $25 for the whole 4 nights. "The staff were nice. It’s good they have 24hr check in. You have to check in at Thunderbird which is the motel/inn next to it but it’s just right beside the property. Good for the price especially if you would be put most of the day. Close to the port which is very convenient."
