「The hosts Clare and Kevin were fantastic. I stayed there for a week. They were friendly and helpful. I felt right at home immediately. The room was in tip-top condition, clean, tidy, and well-maintained. Cleaning was done every day. The breakfast, both continental and English, were fantastic in terms of taste, quality, and plentiful. The hot breakfast was especially great. It was wonderful to be able to enjoy that as well. 「Staff were lovely but the property needs a lot of TLC. The bathroom is tiny but well equipped. Good location for st Michael's Mount but not much else nearby. Bonus was, they offered breakfast included but we weren't hungry enough for a full English breakfast 😟」

「The mattress let it down, thin and very soft. We live only an hour away, stayed so could enjoy a wine tasting without worrying about driving. We got up at 5.30am and went home to bed!! The pod was clean but basic, ok for one night. Staff friendly and helpful.」

「Such a wonderful property, and the rooms are so very clean and comfortable. We slept so well, and were treated quite nicely. Kate is such a lovely host, and her brekkie is top-notch. We enjoyed chatting with her as we ate, and found her delightful and helpful. The farm setting is so peaceful (for us guest that is, a lot of hard work for owners), and the location is great for visiting the Lizard and other places around south Cornwall. Thank you much for such a great stay!」

「Darren at reception was really lovely, the lady who served us breakfast in the morning was very lovely and accommodating. The hotel dog ran up to us barking as we were leaving, which was a bit alarming. The bedroom was simple and clean. Unfortunately the hotel has an awful smell, even in the bedrooms, like damp or mouldy carpets. A bee was in our room, luckily my husband was able to get it out. I appreciate it is an old historic building, but a deep clean and refresh of the carpets might help.」

「A lovely few days in St Ives. Helpful friendly staff perfect location on the harbour breakfast was excellent and even won a few few lines at the lifeboat inn bingo night. Would definitely recommend and go again.」

「The room was spacious and well provided. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good offering a large choice of options. Dinner menu was also excellent and the food was fresh and well prepared.」

「The property is tired. Some of the staff worked hard. Some were obviously inexperienced. But the big problem was there were not enough capable staff. Long waiting times for food. Ordering systems that failed. Simple things like getting your own coffee at breakfast did not work. Altogether a lack of energy and commitment to getting things right was missing. No obvious management. Fabulous views, great weather. Frustrating hotel. We stayed one night. Could not imagine staying longer. What a lost...
