Fabulous view of the sea and easy walk to the city centre. There is a beautiful view from the bar and restaurant and I enjoyed one of their many spa massage treatments. The staff in the bar and housekeeping were also exceptional. The room was a bit warm but they do provide fans. I would definitely come back and stay at this hotel.

Tolles Hotel; besonders der Blick auf das Meer vom Restaurant aus. Dort frühstückt man auch und von hervorragenden Personal betreut; auch am Abend. Der Inhaber muss nur aufpassen das man sich nicht auf dem “Ozean view” ausruht; was die Hotel Instandhaltung, speziell in den Zimmern (z.B. Teppichboden und Matratzen), betrifft.

Stunning location overloòking Fistral Beach. Large, well equipped room with super comfy large bed. We had drinks and food on both evenings of our stay in the Bay bar which we really enjoyed. Hotel has a lovely indoor pool which we made use of. All the staff are friendly, polite and helpful.

Stunning views and great tasting food, what let it down for us was the rude lady (ava) at check in who rolled her eyes at us when we wanted to move rooms due to the constant banging and glass bottle breaking from the bar down stairs. Music from downstaits actually drowned out the TV it was that loud. Staff outside could be heard spitting on the ground which was disgusting. Room keys did not work every time we returned so had to be remagnitised every time we returned. This was supposed to be a relaxing spa break but was ruined by one member of staff being extremely unfriendly and the above mentioned room issues. Spa was very nice however pool was extreemly cold. I do not normally complain or leave negative feedback but for a 3 day break at over £800, i expect and do normally receive much better standards and service.

Beautiful hotel, parking is available but limited with very tight spaces and on a hill so be aware if you have a larger vehicle. Spa was lovely, staff were amazing, room was spacious. We didn't pay for a sea view, so our view was out onto a very run down and filthy roof top which made it feel more like being in the middle of a deprived city area rather than beautiful seaside resort. It didn't affect our stay, but worth knowing if you're planning a romantic getaway.

It has to be stated that the staff are excellent across the board. The challenges at this hotel are all infrastructure related. The hotel is overdue a lot of upgrades to bring it up to modern hotel standards. There’s no air conditioning, there are regular loud noises that can be heard in rooms, the shower / bath combination is a dated solution including a flimsy shower curtain that comes with all the wet-floor problems you got in hotels in the 90s Spa has some great options and does what you need it to. Proximity to the beach and local attractions is perfect in my opinion. Feels really harsh to the staff to give an overall 3 star review but the room facilities really do drag the score down by a large margin

Could not believe the lovely view we had of Fistral Beach. Our double balcony overlooked Fistral Beach. Room was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. It would be nice on check-in for them to explain by they charge 50 pounds per night up front.

Fantastic location, would recommend a sea view to watch over Fistral beach and the surfing. Spa is great. Pool, jacuzzi, steak room and sauna are great but it was alarming that some guests ignored the ‘no diving’ rules displayed which caused much alarm and was scary.

Amazing spa. However food choices disappointing. We stayed as it was our 24 year anniversary and after a busy day wanted room service. I called reception to order and was informed the menu I was requesting from via the app was old. We were asked to order from the new menu which was delivered to our room. We felt these choices were poor with fewer options. The room was incredibly warm, and it is very noisy outside. No black out curtains in room meaning a very early wake up due to light and seagulls. Also flat pillows and very firm mattress. Over all very disappointed considering the price point

Fistral Beach Hotel

Very good overall stay, excellent location, excellent service. Very comfortable bedroom. The pool, steam room and sauna was also excellent. Lovely outdoor seating area, unfortunately hotels music spoilt this as too loud. We went for a balcony room, I wouldn’t recommend spending the extra unless the weather is warm. The balcony is in the shade on an evening. Overall, I would definitely stay again and highly recommend. 9.9 out 10
