"We booked this property for a family wedding at Lusty Glaze, it couldn’t have been better. Close to the venue, walking distance to the town and an amazing property. The view from the lounge was amazing with brilliant sunsets.
A little welcome pack on arrival was a nice touch. Thank you Jacky and David."

"Walkable distance to the centre of Falmouth. Loads of free parking when we went. One occasion. we parked on the road a little up hill (2 minutes walk). Its a lovely cottage, I hadn't considered the Victorian steep steps up to the first floor (regarding my 80+ YO mum), but equally might be testing if one had little kids. Other than that, we loved it cheers."

"Styish bungalow, prime location with lovely views over the creek.
Furnished to a nice standard with thoughtful additions like extra thick large bath sheets and handy little utility packs with bin liners, dishwaster tablets etc.

"The photos don't do this place justice. It has absolutely everything you need, and more! It most definitely has a luxurious feel to it. I loved the bathroom. The cottage os much bigger than it looks in the photos, so much room! "

"A lovely cottage worth the five stars. Spotlessly clean. Maureen has thought of everything you might need and catered for it. Lots of room, large comfortable sofas (but a bit low for us). The TV in the living room could be updated but it didn't impact on our stay and the hot tub was a real treat."

"Great host and very comfortable accommodation. Hot tub is spotless and well maintained. Parking right outside the door. Nice walks into village and local countryside (hilly but it is Cornwall)! Very close to many manor attractions. We loved it."

"Great location for all Newquay attractions and beaches. Good food and amenities. The room was nice but excessively hot even with a fan running all night. We did not get any sleep."
"Good property with excellent breakfast. Very close to Eden Project. Also easy to get to other sights in the vicinity including Fovey & Lanhydrock. Only issue was rooms are cleaned on request. We were told we need to inform them before 10am when we checked in and also there was a notice in the room with same information. However when we first went to request room cleaning at 9am, we were informed by a male receptionist that we were too late as we need to inform them before 9am. So room was not cleaned that day. Thereafter we informed them of any requests before 9am and rooms were cleaned and towels replaced.
Otherwise pleased with our stay here despite the extreme heat. There was a fan in the room which helped. The pool was heated and lovely to spend some time swimming."
"We had a lovely short stay at the Great Western, the hotel is a little dated but apparently is currently undergoing a refurbishment
The staff were pleasant and polite
The bar area was nice and the view from the beer garden is lovely, overlooking the beach
The bedroom was a good size, the bathroom was ok and both were spotless
The beds were very comfy
The bedrooms could do with more plug sockets as there were only 2 and we had to unplug things and swap them around
In saying that we would stay there again"
"We had a delightful stay, rooms are nice, view from the terrace was stunning, all the food we had was delicious and they were also very helpful with allergies! Only complaint is outdoor pool was very cold "
"An all round excellent stay. Warm and helpful staff, ample parking, well designed and inviting rooms, fantastic food in the cafe and restaurant. Can’t recommend highly enough. We’ll definitely be back"
"We enjoyed our harbour view room very much. There was always something going on around the harbour. it was quite a long way to the main Falmouth attractions so we ate mostly at the hotel . The food and drink at the hotel was quite pricey but perhaps on a par with other hotels in the area. The breakfast was good and plentiful. The staff were helpful . The surroundings were a bit drab and the outside space quite limited and close to the road. The hotel was in need of decoration in some areas. Overall we enjoyed our stay ."
"Breakfast was money well spent.
Unfortunately, booking my evening meal was impossible, tried booking a reservation but my only options were up to 18:30 or after 21:45.
Being a hotel resident didn't guarantee me a table, because it's not exclusive."
