"Checkin was terrible. No greeting. No hello. Nothing. Just “Come back after 3”. Better staff at a 1 star hotel. Window on our room was broken and no signal on the Tv. Will never stay here again. "

Following its recent refurbishment on the whole it’s a lovely job. Would we stay again, yes we would. Beautiful views across the harbour and the other direction to Porthminster from the bar and restaurant. "

"We had a great stay at the Lifeboat Inn. The room had an amazing view over the harbour. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. The staff were very welcoming and friendly "

"We stayed in the studio suite, it was clean, comfortable and well furnished. Great shower and comfortable bed. Good information provided about easiest walk down to into town. Easy check in and done basics provided for breakfast together with a bowl of fruit. Both much appreciated. We didn’t have a view but that didn’t spoil anything. The one improvement I would suggest and it’s only a small thing, would be to have a motion sensor nightlight in the socket near the bathroom, the two steps to the bathroom are not easy to climb safely in you need to use bathroom in the dark. Turning light on wakes partner "
