"The staff was very friendly and the location was good. The only issue was our family was booked on two different floors (5 floors apart) and with only one operating elevator the first day of our stay it made it difficult, with the long wait times and crowded elevator being shared between 20 floors. Using the stairs helped , but this may be an issue for some."

"The Public is situated in a great location near China Town. Little Italy, and SoHo. It’s a pretty fast cab ride to Midtown and downtown. I didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant because it was closed. The café was pretty good with breakfast food, fresh juice, and coffee. Housekeeping was very accommodating and the room was clean and orderly. There are things in the room that are comfortable for example thats a bit awkward, for example, there was no place to hang a towel in the bathroom area, no Kleenex, and no hairdryer, so I had to request these items. There are no hooks so you have to place it somewhere close to the shower, which is very tiny. The design is very much like the Edition hotel near Times Square, which I’ve stayed at several times and I enjoy because there is an amazing restaurant and bars. It’s very minimalist design. The table could use one more chair and better quality seating/chairs. I did not get a chance to sample the rooftop bar, but I will have to do that on my next journey or the club for that matter. The front desk staff was very helpful in anything that I needed. Andy, the front desk manager was also very accommodating. I typically stay in upscale properties in Midtown and this hotel really held its own against bigger brands that are more luxurious. It has a younger vibe, which was fine. Overall, a very comfortable stay."

"Nous avons aimé notre séjour de 2 nuits. Bon rapport qualité/prix versus les autres hôtels. Chambre propre et un peu petite mais confortable. Lit confortable, Douche avec beaucoup eau chaude et bons jets. Le déjeuner sur place a été apprécié. Les aliments sont variés et manque de rien. Plusieurs lignes de métro sont accessibles à pied de l’hôtel pour se rendre partout. Nous y étions pour prendre un bateau de croisière. Hôtel près du port qui se fait en taxi. Belle découverte, nous avons été marcher et manger dans le quartier Dumbo à Brooklyn près du pont. Belle vibe et bons restos."

"The hotel is very convenient to the cruise port—about a 5 minute walk. Walking is quicker than a cab because of the traffic pattern. Lots of good eating options in the neighborhood. Hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff is helpful and friendly. The only complaint is their weird breakfast set-up: rather than the usual buffet option, they offer a one-size-fits-all bagged breakfast. "
