「This hotel has ten rooms so you will have as much peace and quiet as you desire. The beach is small and private,with access at low tide to another beach very close by. The room was large and well appointed and fulfilled all of our needs. The on-site dining was very well done with many delicious choices. The one thing you will want to be aware of is it is secluded from many day or night time activities so plan on Uber or taxis to get you to livelier surroundings.」

「Beautiful and peaceful property perfect for our first visit to Sayulita. Included breakfast every morning, the best breakfasts I've had in the last few years of travel in US and Asia. The friendly property manager provided top notch service everyday so we could truly enjoy our mini-vacation. I plan to return and I am recommending Casa de la Ballena to friends and family. 」

「Lalo, who runs the property, was very hospitable and accommodating! As a solo traveler, I felt completely safe walking around there the entire time. The entrance is at the top of a steep hill, so get your legs ready! Renting a golf cart for a day was quite fun. I would love to stay there again. The only reason I gave the area 4 stars is there is construction going on directly by Distrito 88. 」

「Ximena had everything you can ask for from a hotel! My room was stunning, clean, and comfortable, and had excellent air conditioning. The proximity to the center of town and the beach is unmatched. While they do not provide breakfast, there are some amazing cafés between a 5 and 10 minute walk away. The staff was wonderful and helpful, and provided plenty of excellent recommendations. Book it!」
