The staff were so wonderful. So friendly and attentive. The rooms were spotless, bed was very comfortable and my husband and I fought over the hammock on the balcony. Pool area is super chill, great place to relax and read a book. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk into town, but these walks through the streets or the beach were one of our fave parts of the day. The food is phenomenal. So fresh! Between the two of us we had almost everything on the menu and it was all 10/10. The Mutua breakfast was our fave. San Pancho is a small chill town. Perfect slice of paradise to disconnect, enjoy nature, and eat all the amazing food. Would definitely come back! Thank you!

Restaurant on site is quite nice, all staff was so friendly and helpful, and very quiet. Right next to the beach, close to a nice, fun town. Would absolutely recommend!

We had a lovely stay! We loved the room, views and pool and just up the road from the beach. It's much quieter than in town, but just an easy 10-15min walk there. Since there aren't real dining options or stores nearby, it would be nice if the hotel/restaurant offered more snack options.

The Witari is a delightful small hotel with everything you need. Kind of like a mini resort. The rooms are exactly as shown in the photographs and overlook a jungly courtyard with a small pool. There is an even smaller pool up on the roof deck. A free yoga class is held each morning up on the roof. Tropical birds flit about. Beach blanket, cooler and umbrella to take to the nearby beach are provided in the room. Beach chairs are available to sign out. Golf cart can be rented by the day or 1/2 day (800pesos for 5 hours or 1500 for the day). The Tierra Tropical breach club is just a block away and guests of the Witari get a discounted day rate (1000pesos, all credited towards food and drink). Reserve this through the hotel a couple of days in advance if possible. The hotel is located a 15 min walk from the main part of the town. Best to have a flashlight at night if waking back from town. Taxi to town is 100pesos. Attached restaurant Mutua is excellent and open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The included breakfast is 240 peso each as a credit on their menu or you can get coffee and a fruit plate with yogurt and granola. To summarize it’s a relaxing tropical vibe with nice places to hang out such as the pool area and roof decks. We definitely would like to return.

Witari was a lovely oasis in the jungle! We loved the friendly staff (shout out to Alina!). The restaurant was excellent. The grounds were just beautiful...and it's close to the Tropical beach club which is a lovely place to spend the day! all good!

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for a short walk to the beach and close enough to walk to town. It was lovely being close but away from town, very quiet. The breakfast was included and was delicious, many options and freshly prepared. The hotel provided an umbrella, beach blanket and cooler for the beach. Yoga on the rooftop was amazing. I highly recommended this hotel.

Absolutely loved

Absolutely love this boutique hotel. It was so sweet from the moment we arrived. It was like home. The rooms were decorated really lovely and the staff was super kind. The breakfast was delicious and the dinner was off the charts delicious. Super close to the beach, they offered lovely beach towels and a beach cooler and umbrella. Elena and Alena were super sweet and very accommodating.

We were looking for a peaceful escape and found it in this beautiful location. We stayed for nine nights during which I had to work for half of our stay - wifi was strong enough for Zoom meetings. Eco-friendly, with all the ammenties you need to be comfortable. Also walkable to town. Sadly, the restaurant opened the day we left but it looked fantastic.

New hotel that is clean and comfortable with great food on site. I feel like there are better options in town if being close to San pancho city without having to walk 15 mins is important. The part of the beach it is close to is not the best for swimming. The the price and location I would probably stay in town next to everything next time, but we just enjoy being close to all the things and the best swimming/surfing portion of the beach

My only regret about my stay at Witari was that I had to leave. This boutique punches way above it’s value. I’m honestly worried about posting all the fabulous things about this fantastic place, because it means future bookings will be harder to come by. I cannot recommend this wonderful spot enough. The staff provided better service than the 5 star hotel we stayed at later in our trip. The food is excellent. Rooms are quiet and clean. Amazing location. And the view is stunning. Thanks for such an excellent stay!

My husband and I stayed here for two days celebrating a wedding anniversary. The hotel is modern, beautiful, clean and tranquil. The pool area and rooftop terrace are wonder spots t hang out and chill. The on site restaurant Matua is very good for breakfast and we did eat dinner there the first night..elevated Mexican cuisine..very nice. One thing to note ..the hotel is on north end ..more residential are of San Pancho and a short walk.to beach...a little steep cobblestone street..nothing crazy. It’s a bit of a walk to town..we walked on beach during day..and drove to town a few blocks ..in the evening. We highly recommend Hotel Witari for a relaxing time in a beautiful setting.

Love Witari!

Great little hotel with caring hospitality and a world class new restaurant, Mutua (great food and service staff). The swimming pools were too small for swimming. The rooftop one should be a hot tub for this time in San Pancho. But we don't have to swim there, of course. Glad to have found this gem!!! Muchas Gracias!

This inew hotel, with about 15 rooms, is situated two blocks from the beach and a 10-15 minute walk to the center of town. The hotel is well furnished and decorated is an elegant but simple and natural way. The pool area is in a garden and there are trees adjacent to the property. The staff are friendly, engaging, helpful and knowledgeable. The attached restaurant makes delicious food. As the hotel is away from the central part of the city it is quiet, however you have to walk into town if you want something or want to visit any of the other 40 restaurants in town. All told, I would recommend this hotel.

Witari is a wonderful place to stay. We walked along the beach to town on most nights for dinner but the Mutua restaurant on site offers a delightful menu and the staff there is amazing. All staff were very attentive, respectful and professional. The beach is within easy proximity. We also discovered the Tierra Tropicale Beach Club which we recommend for at least one full day of sun and relaxation. The walk to town or back to the hotel after dark is scary as the streets outside town are not well lit and roads follow a jungle setting but there are always taxis available along the Terra Monde or main road through town where you can pick one up for about 100 pesos to the hotel. A warning as well that the liability waiver upon checkin can be a little off-putting but beyond that, it was most enjoyable. We'll be back!

This property is beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. We stayed for three nights and wished we had stayed longer. The bathrooms feature intentional lighting, a well-lit mirror perfect for makeup, sensored lights under the vanity, well-designed sloped showers, and lovely-smelling soap and lotion. The room had thoughtful details like large sliding balcony doors, a full-length mirror, proper lighting, a beach blanket and umbrella, and convenient luggage cabinets. The main pool is perfect for lounging, and the side access to the beach is convenient with a rinse-off shower right there. We also appreciated the filtered water refill stations near the front desk and pool area, as they made it easy to use our reusable bottles. It’s also about a 15-minute walk to the main part of town via the beach after a pretty steep hill from the hotel. It was was very enjoyable but something to be mindful of! Our only complaint is the lack of soundproofing, as we could hear our neighbors’ conversations. However, it wasn’t a major issue since most guests are there to relax and enjoy their vacation.
