"Beautiful hotel right across from the beach. Rooms were beautiful, and the property was gorgeous! We rented golf carts directly from the hotel and was able to get around the town easily. Staff was so helpful and kind. Highly recommend this hotel! "

"This is a very nice modest place to stay and find your way around beautiful Sayulita.
The people who work in and run the hotel are absolutely lovely in every aspect. "

"Adorable hotel, kind and accommodating staff. We loved that it was away from the craziness of the main area in Sayulita. There is a lot of walking, but it was helpful after all the Al Pastor tacos :) "

"Wonderful centrally located hotel. Great for short trips. My niece and I stayed one night. Be aware this is a very loud area. This was not a concern for us but if you are looking for a quiet area, don’t stay here. I can’t wait to visit again. "

"Everything was really great about this property. We would rebook when we go back to Sayulita! Just know that it is in a noisy part of town. Weekend music goes on all night Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. It didn’t bother us much as the doors and windows on this property are as sound proof as possible. But thought I would just mention it in case it is important to some people. Otherwise this unit is great!"

"My third stay at this little gem. Unfortunately, i stayed in the front suite which does not have A/C. There is construction next door and street traffic made it rather noisy."
"This is one of our favorite places we have ever stayed. We stayed in Casita 1 and the view was so beautiful. 103 steps from the beach to Casita but it was so worth the effort. The property is well taken care of and the room was so clean and well maintained. The outside shower was our favorite. We cannot wait to come back . Thank you for your hospitality! "
"I booked this stay with my partner to celebrate our anniversary, expecting a luxurious experience for a portion of our otherwise budget-friendly trip. Unfortunately, it fell far short of expectations.
Upon check-in, we were informed of an “upgrade” due to electrical issues with our room. The replacement was a secluded jungle cabin with an outdoor bathroom that had no mirror, dirt on the bed, mold stains on the ottoman, and poor lighting. The AC was blasting to mask the damp/musty wood smell and gaps under the door let in mosquitoes, the uneven floorboards made it hazardous, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work, leaving the TV useless. I had to fight not to be charged for this subpar first night.
The room wasn’t the main issue though. On the day of our anniversary, we waited by the closed pool (we were told at check-in it would be closed that day) to be relocated. Staff mishandled our bags, which arrived covered in dirt, and the new room wasn’t even ready when we got there. I also tripped on the stairs, and a staff member later laughed about it to the cleaning staff.
The room we originally booked was beautiful, but the poor service and frustrating experience ruined what should have been a special stay. A key portion of our trip, meant to celebrate our anniversary and enjoy the property’s amenities, was derailed.
Additional notes:
- The walk to town is 40 minutes—definitely book a golf cart!!
- The food is mediocre, overpriced, and not vegan friendly
- sunrise was gorgeous here"
