"Clean room and staff helpful"

"The hotel is very nice. Staff are courteous and friendly. Beds are very comfortable. The room had no fridge which we found very inconvenient. Great view of the ocean. But.... Incredibly loud, persistent and very annoying noise from local bands performing on the beach. Their music, if you dare to call it that, has non stop drums, trumpets and many other wind instruments all competing for the fastest and loudest sounds they can make. I even saw several of these bands performing within several meters of each other. How can the hotel continue to tolerate this. It will certainly drive away repeat customers. The windows are very poor to insulate from the noise. Simply awful. And it goes on all day long. Certainly not an incentive to stay here or anywhere along the beach. it seems hotels in this area have no control over these beach bands. The hotel management apologized for the inconvenience and said it would not happen again. They did not follow up on this as the bands returned every day. Impossible to have a quiet afternoon or evening in the room or on the balcony for that matter. The hotel was very nice but the noise factor makes it unlikely we will return. "

"This hotel has a very nice pool and location. Beach had jellyfish and although they had sign up on pole they didn’t not tell guest of dangers after several people got stung. Property is old and TV did not work in room. No signal. Food by pool was poor quality and very expensive for the area. Pool staff very good with service never had to wait for a drink and didn’t bother you. Overall good stay and will come back again. "

"My parents celebrated their 60 year anniversary here and the loved their experience. Staff was absolutely wonderful and made their stay memorable. Sofi, the front desk attendant, was attentive, super friendly and very helpful! Concierge went out of their way to help my parents find a local photographer so they could get some amazing shots to capture their special day. They were also upgraded so they could have a suite on the first floor and Sofi and staff gifted them a bottle of Champagne! The accommodations were great and the views were beautiful but it is the people who made their anniversary getaway so very special and I am so grateful for all they did."
