「Very peaceful and quiet. Stairs were a bit more of a challenge than I anticipated, but next stay I will ask about ground level before I book. Beds very comfortable! Liked the overall atmosphere very much.」

「The room was clean and comfortable and it was quiet. No street noise or noise from other rooms. The rooms do open up to the outside rather than to an indoor hall. The continental breakfast was adequate. There is a McDonald’s and a convenience store within walking distance. Overall, a good value for the price.」

「Denny was a wonderful host! I stayed on the third floor in the Derby Room. It was perfectly charming! Everthing I needed for a solo one night getaway. Perfectly located to enjoy a leisurely walk around downtdown Maysville. Fantastic eateries and pubs just footsteps away from the front door. Denny was very knowledgeable about the local fare and offered many suggestions.The next time I need to take a step back in time and enjoy the company of the lovely people of Maysville, I will definitely book...

「We were in the area for a wedding. The hotel was a very good choice for the area. The breakfast buffet was terrific; the beds were comfortable, and we were able to enjoy the pool. Unfortunately, the elevator was out over the weekend. Our room was on the 3d floor. The regular desk staff who were there throughout the weekend were sympathetic, but not creative in problem-solving. However, at checkout, when I asked for a discount, the manager refunded our entire payment.」

「Where do I start. This Hotel, staff, everything was absolutely amazing. The hotel is locally owned by some of the most pleasant people you would ever want to be around. Actually everyone we met in the entire town was so very kind and went above and beyond on everything. The rooms were TOP class, the decorations were everything Horse and Horse racing. We went to visit a friend who in in rehab in Paris so we decided to stay here. We left Paris with more friends. We will definitely be going back...

「I felt the facility was somewhat dirty. The carpets haven’t been cleaned in a very long time. When I got out bed, I put my flip flops to walk about the room because of the dirty carpet. Some updating is needed along with new carpet.」

「I checked in last Friday night to this hotel and walked into what can only be described as a cloud of smoke. After talking to the front desk it sounded like there was a mix up with our booking but they assured me they could get us into a non-smoking room. The non smoking room they gave us as it turns out was actually just a previous smoking room that they had swapped a coat of paint on. Which did not matter because the chair in the corner had a cigarette burn and the smoke detector was hanging...
