A lovely country drive east from Lexington ends is Paris, KY-- heart of Bourbon County. Named in appreciation for French Aid during the Revolutionary War, Paris is a handsome town with rural charm, an integral downtown and incredibly friendly people. Immediately recognized as an out of tower, a local business owner suggested I visit the chamber of commerce where they would take my picture to put in the newspaper. Who wouldn't want to spend time in a quiet place where the big news is the visit of some random Oregonian? #simplelife

Easy to find. It was raining pretty hard when we showed up so the parking/ballet situation was a bit of a cluster. Once we got in the lot though it was all taken care of.

Everything was amazing. If you’re not booking one of these cottages, you are truly missing out! Our cottage featured a staircase in front with an incredible view. The sun shinning through in the morning was absolutely perfect!
