Lovely eclectic and historic property, comfortable beds, very nice bathroom layout. Loved the toiletries provided, and there were a number of thoughtful touches that elevated the experience. The bar space, with its deep sink, turned out to be an excellent place for arranging flowers that I was taking to an event. This hotel is in a terrific location..

This is a hotel not to be missed. The Art Deco style in the rooms combined with the cleanliness and boutique style makes it a Louisville treasure. Plenty of street parking and a great neighborhood.

Love this so much, but there are no elevators! Bring your muscles or a friend because no one is available to help you. Also, check-in is weird; make sure you got a room number and code to get in.

The code to get into the facility would not work. I had to make a phone call and after three attempts finally got in the facility. Then the code to open my guest room door did not work. I was still on the phone with I think was an AI representative and after three attempts at opening the door, all of which failed the keypad ceased to operate. So I had no choice, but to leave the hotel has refused a refund.

Upscale boutique hotel. But I can't figure out what I'm paying for. Service? There is none. Parking? On your own. Luxury? A mix of modern appointments and cheap ass particle board in unfinished concrete floors. No room service or housekeeping. No staff. Check in code didn't work. Great location on bardstown Rd w shops and dining options and bars. I'm a vendor for pride festival, and it's the only hotel on site.

The room was immaculate, airy and cool. The bed was incredibly comfortable with lots of fluffy pillows. High ceilings and a ceiling fan made the circulation in the room so comfortable. We had folks on either side of us in the other rooms and heard nothing, so that was nice. I slept like a rock. Shower was clean and had very nice items to use that smelled nice. We will definitely be back.

The cleanliness and fragrance of the premises were notable. Outside of business hours, staff can be reached by phone. Guest have autonomy to come and go as please. Parking was difficult, street parking only, no parking lot for the hotel itself. The location and its close proximity to the Highlands amenities made this stay enjoyable.

Self Check in was well set up. We requested and paid for early check in and that went smoothly as well. Room was great and the staff checked in with us via text frequently. Highly recommend The Bellwether. The area around the hotel has shops, restaurants and is in a wonderful community.
