「Room was comfortable if not luxurious. Staff was helpful and the owner went out of his way to assist with any issues. A little out of the way. Definitely recommend renting a car but driving in Aruba is pretty straight forward. For a short notice booking I was happy.」

I will say my husband and I are highly disappointed that the Barcelo no longer maintains the water features for the iguanas next to the buffet due to an ignorant guest that decided to hand feed an iguana, supposedly was bitten and then said they were going to sue the Barcelo. 「I booked the pool view room, and they gave me a room that wasn't the pool view without telling me. Then I went to the front desk to change room, it took them about half hour to change room for me. But the air conditioner in the new room was so noisy that I couldn’t open it. The hygiene of the room was very poor, and there were some yellow stains on the towels and quilt」
