"It was an old building , with character. I was on 2nd floor, quite a way to carry my suitcase, lovely room with nice outlook but the floor was uneven and windows difficult to open due to the age of the building."

"We stayed in the Lister Farmhouse, which was delightful. The room was spacious, well designed with the amenities you need for a comfortable stay, including air conditioning. Breakfast was equally lovely, with Tom on-hand to provide you with great service and great food. We also had dinner at the Lister Arms on both the nights we stayed, with each meal exceptional. I would recommend you book ahead as every table was taken each night, and given the quality of the food, it’s not hard to see why."

"An excellent stay in a good sized room in a good location. The staff were excellent and breakfast was very good. The only negative comment is that evening meals are not served at the hotel however there are plenty of good options nearby."

"Lovely little spot to stay, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The room was really nicely decorated and very clean and breakfast was certainly different but not in a bad way. The little hamper is a nice little touch, maybe not to everyone's taste but I found it quite cute and unique. Thank you for a lovely stay. 😊 Great view from our room"

"We stayed at Tan Hill for part of our honeymoon and it was perfect. We stayed in Pennine view superior room and it was breathtaking. Spotlessly clean, perfect in everyway. Great choice of drinks in the bar, staff were fantastic. Breakfast was simply amazing. Great circular walk down to keld across the Pennine way"

"Loved our stay, Masham room was lovely with a quality bathroom, it even had a TV area. Slept really well with comfortable bed nice bed linen. Holly at breakfast was super efficient giving very good service. Breakfast was of good quality and cooked to perfection. We will definitely be returning."
