Perfect place for a night away with the dog

Warm and friendly service by everyone. Food was great, room comfortable and accomodating to dogs. Perfect location to get the best out of the scenic walks in the area. Would come again.

Pub and Barn were lovely. We had a barn room and it was small but beautifully appointed. The coffee machine was a real bonus as was the homemade shortbread. The velux window was a bit of a challenge to open and close. Breakfast was very nice with really friendly helpful staff, checkout was also friendly and straightforward. This was in contrast to check in, (e.g. we were told they didn't want us mithering the cleaning staff, as if we would) lunch and evening meal. The food was nice enough but my partner remarked that the staff were like automatons in that they said the appropriate things as though they were reading off a card but seemed irritated that we were there.
