We loved the white Hart Inn, it was our Golden wedding anniversary and everyone was so welcoming and we felt very spoilt. Nothing was too much trouble and the food is amazing as are the portions. Karen was lovely at breakfast, nothing too much trouble. Overall we would definitely return. Loved it.

The big difference with this Inn over other corporate alternatives is the staff taking ownership of their work. The two girls doing waiting service for evening meal reflected what the place is about. In a nutshell, they cared about the service. What a difference to see staff invested in their work. It’s pricey but worth the money when you get honest service like this.

It's a lovely cosy pub/restaurant with large, elegant rooms above. Plenty of space and storage, large bed, clean and modern facilities, and charming helpful hosts - couldn't ask for more
