It was an old building , with character. I was on 2nd floor, quite a way to carry my suitcase, lovely room with nice outlook but the floor was uneven and windows difficult to open due to the age of the building.

Nice hotel in a beautiful location on the edge of the market square in Masham. The staff were really friendly and our room was good, it's a shame the bar closes early, we were up there for a gig at the Town Hall and wanted a drink afterwards with our friends, luckily the Bruce Arms were very accommodating. A nice place to stay, a shame there were no biscuits in the rooms for your afternoon cuppa though.

Great location - lovely village! lots of little shops, places to walk to and things to see. The rooms were a little hot but there was a fan. The TV was so basic it had no streaming services or anything.

We stayed for a short 1-night break and the service from the staff was great from start to finish. Despite being oppressively hot, the staff were really friendly, the room was great and the food was lovely too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to you.

Lovely pub, hotel and area. You won’t be disappointed. Plus two breweries! My only request is to have a secure area for motorbikes. If they had that, then they would be the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

Lovely overnight stay here. Our room in the main hotel was excellent and my son loved his in the courtyard area. The check in was good. Staff very friendly and pleasant. Local beer excellent, as expected. Dinner was lovely and so was breakfast. The staff were so friendly, but professional, especially when a resident asked if the fresh fruit like oranges had been washed !!! We will go back again.
