「Very nice hotel is in a convenient location in San Marcos close enough to the main road and the public dock. Solid restaurant and good customer service. Meals were good if not great. Scenic view of the lake. They did a nice job putting together transportation and activities for our visit. Just be aware that because it is in town you may hear some sounds like music and dogs close to bedtime but never after 10pm. I would stay again. 」

「Well this place is OLD unkept, and over price for the quality. Staff was very professional. Doors broken, locks not working, walls crack and chipped very bad. Furniture were stained and due to city pest control spray that day there was so many bags all over the room. Which they had time to clean since we arrived at 6:00 pm and pest control was before noon 」

「Uxlabil is up off the main road between San Pedro and San Juan. An "Eco Hotel"(whatever that means here) with nice views that overlook the bay in a rustic garden setting. Pros: - nice views from outside the rooms, hammocks as well - clean room - nice garden - dock area, although not much info shared about it but you can see it Cons: - many many stairs from the main road/entrance to the reception, beware if you are older/have kids.
