"There are clearly different "tiers" for the rooms in this hotel. I felt that we were in a suite that probably shouldn't have been in rotation. Off in the back corner, lots of wear to the paint, faucets, dresser drawers, etc. It was clean, just aged and in need of some TLC. They had also clearly had a water leak in this wing as there were visible water marks on the hallway carpets and the overwhelming smell of air freshener attempting to mask the mildew smell.
On the surface the room was nice. We did not have a view of the Tower Bridge at all, but as we really weren't in our room that much, we didn't consider it a huge priority. We likely could've moved rooms if we had asked, but the schedule of the move would've cut into our plans for the day too much so we didn't bother.
There were marble floors in the bathroom, and a separate tub and shower. We only used the shower in the tub, but the faucet handle was completely missing so adjusting the temperature proved difficult to say the least.
Complimentary mini bar was a bit of a nice surprise, but the selection was very limited. Coffee and tea were available too, and replenished daily.
The mattress was quite hard, which worked for me, but my wife would've preferred something softer.
Overall, the stay was just "fine", but given the status of the hotel, I expected more from oue stay.
Pickier travellers would've complained about the room and moved I'm sure, but as mentioned, we were barely there so not a big deal for us."
"Beautiful hotel in the heart of London.
Park Plaza Westminster Bridge is right in the middle of everything — you can walk to most major attractions, and Big Ben and the London Eye are just outside. The hotel is modern, clean, and comfortable, making it a perfect base for exploring the city. We really enjoyed the bar in the evenings, a great place to unwind after a long day. In the mornings, the coffee and croissant in the café were the perfect start. And throughout our stay, the staff were incredibly helpful, which made the experience even better."
"The rooms are very claustrophobic with nowhere to put your things. No wardrobes, cupboards, or even a small shelf, so all your belongings have to go on the floor.
There are zero amenities in the room ( no tv, iron, hairdryer, kettle etc) just one towel each and one pillow each, thin duvet and extremely basic lumpy mattress.
Rooms really clean but corridors filthy and carpets full of stains.
Signage to rooms needs to be much clearer.
Location incredible and staff helpful however.
Just not a fair price vs what you get (especially vs the main basic chain hotels)."
