"Really unique experience to stay on a canal boat that is extremely well furnished and close to some great dining options (and Heathrow Express from Paddington station)."

"We had a garden room which over looked Hyde park. Need I say more? The staff was super helpful. We were there during an unusually hot period & the AC was up to the task!!"
"The hotel is very dated and not good value for money. Only plus is it’s at T5 so easy access.
Room was musty with carpeting throughout and A/C non existent. Felt like I couldn’t breathe like there was NO fresh air. Room is dated. Upgraded to a suite room with free mini bar. Two Coors not even uk beer. One bottle of tonic, cokes and a small bottle of scotch? Scotch and tonic?
Worst part is the musty stale air. Bar closes at midnight and sitting drinking 10 pound beers we watched the mice run around to get the dropped peanuts. Bar staff very unfriendly most likely due to it being at end of shift. Would never stay there again!!"
"Love this hotel in the summer for the outdoor area however disappointingly there are no fridges in the room
It’s also self checkin which is quick but the queue to actually speak to some one was quite long
There is not a gym on site like some web sites suggest but you can use a local one"
"This hotel was reasonably priced so my expectations were not high. This hotel has over 1000 rooms and is the hotel where a bus load or 2 drop off 100 people at one go. There is nothing wrong with that but it was full of children on school trips. It can get very noisy.
I booked a 2 nights stay. The room given to us was a family room
1 double and 1 single. The room was tatty. The bathroom door would not shut as the door was too big! The beds were comfortable and the pillows were nice. The bed linen was good too. Unfortunately, a very disturbing mouldy smell was lurking in the corner by the double bed. It was bad. I decided to ask if it was possible for us to be moved to another room for our second night. It was that bad.
The lady who helped us could not be nicer. In fact, all the staff at this hotel were so pleasant and nice. Anyway, we were moved to a double room to their slightly posher bit called City Sleeper. The room was a bit smaller but much smarter and very clean. She also gave us a free breakfast. The way she handled my complaint was very professional and on the nicest manner.
Would I stay here again? Probably not. It is too big and hundreds of school children is annoying!
Just a suggestion, in case the hotel does read this. Put somewhere to sit in the foyer. Not a chair in sight! ( But the porter did go fetch 2 chairs for us to sit while we waited, which was very nice) I just think there should be chairs already there."
