Solo concert trip

Staff very welcoming and helpful, nice room, great size ,nice an modern, brilliant bathroom and shower ,tv worked ...bad points we're skylight over bed no control for blind and when returning in the late evening found three little friends running around bathroom so not so great.

Overnight stay

Booked for an overnight stay for a concert, we did have room with no window and a velux window in the roof, which you could open also a fan was provided to keep us cool. Room looked like it has a new shower room which was lovely and clean.

The fountain stay

Nice stay here. Some of the reviews didn’t look the best but we gave it a go and glad we did. The room was basic but clean and had everything we needed including breakfast cereals, milk, teas, coffees, bed was comfortable, good nights sleep, reasonable price.

Hidden gem

This place is a real gem. The check in via the pub was swift and helpful. The room itself, really well set out and comfort. Very clean and tidy. The bed was superb and real milk in the fridge. If ever I’m local again, I’d be happy to pay again, what was very reasonable indeed

Given the price of the stay in comparison to others around the area, it gave real bang for buck. Location was short walk to Seven Sisters and had many options for food whether dine in or takeaway. Room was clean, blackout blinds geat and decent bathroom. Came with some complimentary cereal and tea/coffee. Pub was nice downstairs and staff helpful and friendly. Would happily stay again.

Basic but clean

From the outside hotel didn’t look great. Went in to the bar. Checked in at the bar. Back outside to get into rooms through a door that has seen better days. Pleasantly surprised when we got in to see that it was clean basic but clean. A bit over priced for location. There was no Food to order in bar either.

Not a lot of food nearby. Grocery store across the street where you can get some of your needs met. The wifi in the room never worked. When complained a fix was never made. Not a far walk to the Stadium or to the Underground.

The interior decor was pleasant enough. The entrance to the hotel area is separate to the pub. The window in the door is severely cracked and needs replacing. The tiling throughout and all wooden staircases reminded us of a Greek hotel. Room was fine, no window but there was a skylight letting in some light. Ensuite was clean and shower gel was provided. Tea, coffee, cereal and milk was provided. Milk was stored in a small fridge under the desk. There was one issue, the heat. The room had got unbearably hot by the time we returned later that night. There was no working thermostat and no windows to open. Undoubtedly the fridge was adding to the heat in the room. We resorted to wedging the door of the room open for an hour or so to allow cool air from the corridor to cool the room slightly. We'd have said something in the morning but the pub was shut and keys were dropped into a letterbox for checking out.

Hidden Gem

This place is a diamond in the rough. My family needed a place to stay for 1 night after the Tottenham Hotspur match was rescheduled unexpectedly. Though the surroundings seem less than inviting, once we entered the hotel, it was perfect. The room was immaculate and spacious and we felt entirely safe. The free cereal bar was a nice touch, too. The room was a little warm which some people might prefer. (We should have asked how to adjust the temperature.) We would definitely stay here again.
