I think on the whole this is good value for money, the kitchen/waitress got our supper order wrong so my friend and I ate separately. Our room was very cold and it was not possible to turn off the A/C but the reception staff did their best to sort it out.

Beautiful stay at this unique hotel, an amazing surprise for my daughter's 11th birthday. Staff went above to make her feel special and the in the room they had got her a balloon, card and chocolates. It really made her day!

This stay was part of a surprise birthday gift and it did not disappoint. Friendly and helpful check in by the member of staff on duty. We had a room with a river view which just added to the experience. We were only there for one night but in that time everything we needed was there. Breakfast was nice and hot but as in any hotel that we have stayed in it does get busy at peak times and sometimes you will need to wait for items to be replenished. Would we stay again, definately!

Staff very friendly at reception Classic traditional ‘cruise ship’ style as expected Impeccably clean Bathroom very dated, infitting with a ship, shower only and extremely heavy door dangerous when having children in the room with you. Couldnt prop bathroom door open and no working fan in the bathroom for stream. Reason for low score was complete lack of sleep due to room being uncomfortably warm the entire time. Staff attempted to assist by providing two fans however as window doesnt open this just circulated the warm air around. When speaking to reception they advised they had another room to move us to however said they knocked on our door at 11am to offer us it and as we didnt answer they gave it to someone else! Hard to believe anyone goes to London to stay in their room until 11am and wait to be offered another room plus they has our emails and phone numbers to try to contact us also but didnt attempt to. Breakfast was fine but really poor set up, long queues at hot drinks station and hot food just due to poor layout noone could access until person at front has completely moved out of the way. This could be fixed easily by the staff walking through the setup as guests do. Overall we were offered an upgrade on a return stay however lack of sleep ruined our weekend and due to that unfortunately we wouldnt return

Fantastic alternative hotel and well worth the location being a little way out of central London. Rooms very generous size, all areas of ship spotless, staff very pleasant. Food in bar was delicious. Only negative during entire stay was that the cooked breakfast buffet food was barely warm. Would definitely stay here again, fantastic place to stay

Good overall experience. Just a couple of downsides, the room we had was hot with the air conditioning not quite working well enough, room service was not very efficient. You had to use the hotel app but payments weren’t getting processed successfully and when I tried calling reception the phone just rings out with no answer. The hotel is quite busy so that’s maybe a reason. On the positive, the breakfast was good with decent options all round. The food at the restaurant was also quite nice. The general ambiance of the hotel is also very pleasant. I’ll stay again surely.

Staff were very welcoming. Room was clean and lovely. Bathroom a little dated, with some cracked/ chipped tiles but nothing that affected our stay. Great location for ExCel and perfect to relax in the deck on a sunny spring morning.

Stayed in executive room 4th floor with balcony. Spacious and clean with a very comfortable king size bed and sofa. Spacious bathroom with walk in shower. Nice range of tea and coffee facilities. Conveniently located for O2 using DLR two stop to Canning Town then jubilee line one stop. Lovely cooked breakfast available. Impressive interior with opulent central stair case. Would stay again.

A bit tired, lift didn’t work, no branded stationary or perks of a typical fancy hotel, WiFi was poor and a lot of noise in the bedroom from the entry. Not worth the cost.
